About
My name is Lisa.
I grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, and I’ve lived in Spain on and off since 2005.
I’ve been in Granada, mostly, but have also spent nine months in Madrid. My heart is more at home in Andalucia because of things like Flamenco, perpetual blue skies, white-washed pueblos and nearby Cabo de Gata‘s unspoiled beaches.
I am a professional multi-tasker: student, freelance translator and English teacher, traveler and writer-in-the-works.
I like to cook sometimes, but I like to eat more. I also don’t mind washing dishes, as long as I don’t do it EVERY time.
I come from a running family and have run in some capacity my whole life, but I just became hardcore this past summer when I decided to start training for the 2009 Granada half-marathon. Then, I recruited my boyfriend and he became more hardcore than me.
I also come from a cat-loving family, but not in the creepy way. In the cats-are-way-better-than-dogs way, but probaly at least partly because I’m allergic to dogs.
I’m not big into blogging, but I do have a few favorite pages I check on regularly, all by acquaintances or friends. This blog has no specific purpose, that I know of, yet…
